In poultry farming, feed efficiency (FCR) is a major variable to determine the cost of a kilogram of poultry meat. Feed accounts for 65-70% of broiler production cost. Despite rapid growth, the poultry industry suffered many setbacks in recent times due to the rising cost of feed. The availability of grains to the feed industry is expected to decrease.
This would lead to an escalation in the cost of feed ingredients. Such a situation can be corrected by developing innovative products that give better growth with less feed input such as KARYOGRO™.
KARYOGRO™ contains a carefully chosen mixture of eight enzymes including cellulase, xylanase, mannanase, amylase, protease, pectinase, beta-glucanase and phytase in a unique ratio. The proprietary formulation is designed in a water soluble format for the prolonged release of enzymes in the drinking water of poultry to ensure continuous and sustained activity. In the trial conducted in poultry, we could serve signiﬁcant improvement in the overall FCR from 1.85 to 1.65 among the group which was supplemented with KARYOGRO™ in drinking water
