It is observed that due to poor water quality and bad cultural practices, there is a reduction in the population of useful microbes in the shrimp intestine resulting in the buildup of harmful organisms like Clostridia, Streptococci, E. coli, Salmonella and Vibrio species. Due to this, shrimp farmers are incurring huge financial losses.

The useful microorganism present in the GUT-N-FIT™ multiply very fast in the shrimp gut and make feed fully digestible. The special enzymes added in GUT-N-FIT™ help the shrimp in digesting feed very fast and release vitamin B, which helps to improve the disease resistance of shrimp. This further reduces the problems of the white gut and white fecal matter. It is identified that “loose shell” is formed because of a lack of available phosphorus to the shrimp as it is present in bound form.
